Different site this one, very, very nice site, well manicured with each pitch beautifully segregated by pruned hedges. We made the trip in good order, two mistakes, both in Redruth, making a second left not a first, then, inexplicably selecting wrong gear on return to main road so bit of a mistake, but we got away with both!!
Then straight to site, easy to find, just off the main road, well signposted and on site one hour and fifteen minutes from leaving Kuggar.
So different to CC. This site has kids (being the weekend) has a club, a bar, a food-bar, Supermarket, Adventure Golf, remote control Boating and cars, etc, an adventure area, etc, etc.
Been here for two days now and already thinking this is not really us. Had the shits last night after eating from the takeaway (30 minute wait)! There is a very poorly stocked supermarket, tonight the food bar was dead and the bar was shut (Staff phoning in sick)
etc.
... anyway you can't argue with location.
Yesterday, in scorching heat, we made the decision to re-visit Perranporth Beach which was stunning! Paddled the dogs through the running tide of fresh water running in torrents on the beach. Had a couple of pints of cider at the Watering Hole, fantastically positioned on the edge of the beach with full sun and a little warm breeze. What a fantastic experience!! Just like being in the Med!
Both dogs not mad about the heat, and Joe is struggling with his walking, so we have cut
walks right back, but he was better today
...and sorted the wi-fi!
