New Tyres for our Anniversary

What a funny day for our 43rd Wedding Anniversary!

Noted the tyres on the Sorento the other day and couldn't help but notice they were both badly worn on the inside. Checked on Tinternet and located the nearest Tyre-service nearby (I thought it was in Braunton-it was actually a lovely little garage in nearby Georgeham).

After cursing the useless Satnav, the charming proprietor, Nigel directed us into his Workshop two days later for the fitting. Georgeham is the dinky little town near to Putsborough, and on the way to Croyde.

He and his wife Judith guided us to a remote dog-friendly beach on the estuary at Crow

Point, where we walked along the sands on Braunton Burrows with the tide out, and far-reaching views up-river to Appledore.

Driving back past the lovely beaches of Saunton Sands, we went for a lovely lunch at The Blue Groove-(no Crab but delightful Mussels and Squid)-the same place as my phone was handed in the day before!

Bought a little Jewellery for the anniversary from the pop-up market on the green, then back to site, where we later popped in to the clubhouse just for a quick pint and the Bingo!
