Planning the next one...

Thinking about the next break now...

So a change in the weather and a bit cooler today. The dogs love it and are getting a break from the scorching temperatures. A bit of rain and the gardens loved it.

We have the Norwegian Fjords cruise coming at the end of August and we have tonight booked an extension to that holiday at the stunning little site at Trevellan down near Cubert, two miles walk from the delectable Holywell Bay, which we loved on our last visit to Cornwall.

We saw this site when visiting the Smugglers Rest at Cubert in June. Looks a lovely, quiet site and has an open air swimming pool plus Carp fishing apart from other things, but it is tidy and quiet, beautifully laid out, and of course, and most importantly, right next to the pub!

We are there for 9 days and following the cruise, and for the obvious reason that it is at Holywell, which is stunning, and close by to Perranporth and the dunes and beaches nearby.

We have looked, while we were down in June at Lodges at Gull Rocks, Holywell, and at other sites including Oyster Bay at Goonharvern, but have yet to find anything that actually makes any real financial sense in terms of a move down.

Hey ho! We are enjoying the extended holidays, and the lasting weather of the summer, so we continue to enjoy life and everything that comes with it!

Caravan service in the meantime tomorrow.
